Howdy all,Been a bit of hiatus due to school starting back up, haven?t had time to scratch myself let alone blog. Thought I better put that right in the name of self-promotion. Just in case you don?t know, those of you in Aotearoa at least, we are on tour this month. Dates are:

Support acts are Simon Comber and Tono and the Finance Company. Simon and Tono are both songwriting alumni from Otago and I rate their work very highly. For older Verlaines fans, who may not know their work, I think you will enjoy their song-craft very much (and hopefully their younger fans will enjoy mine). Tickets available from:

Haven?t been on the road in a while and expect I?ll be feeling my age by the end of it. Once it is over it will be straight down to work learning the new album, which hopefully we can record in April/May. We will be playing one of the new tracks live on the tour. Short blog. Lots to do.
