Feminist critique of gangsta rap

This is quite old (1994) but worth a read. The author doesn't seem to have been active in recent times as far as I can tell with a brief search this morning. In spite of its age it seems relevant still.http://race.eserver.org/misogyny.html

Hello. bell hooks actually has a book called "Teaching Critical Thinking" that just came out in September here in the US. I like and use her work on feminism and pedagogy quite a bit. -Ralph
